Dear Uncle Jimi. I'm still dumbfounded by your departure. The last time we spoke, you told me anytime you were going to visit us in Canada, it was going to be a surprise. I was not expecting this. I remember the times I spent my summer vacations with you and aunty Jo in Lagos and when I left, I went home with lots of presents. You were generous like that. You were such a caring person. My mum and I would be forever grateful for the love and care you showed us when I lost my dad in '85. My heart does not want to believe you are gone but I know that you are now an angel keeping watch over us all. Rest in perfect peace.
