Mary 31st May 2020

Mr J, as you I fondly called you. It's unbelievable that you were gone. You were a very amiable, jovial personality since I met you when Jo and I were working in Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). We became one family ever since. You took everyone in my family as your family including my brothers and sisters. You remembered everyone's birthday, and you will make sure you called no matter wherever you were. You gave nickname to my siblings children, especially Opeyemi, my brother's daughter whom you usually called 'Rudi Rudi' being the way she usually walked due to heavy diaper she was putting on as a baby when you went to spend holiday with them in USA. We were planning for the wedding of your 'Rudi Rudi' in September this year in New Jersey, USA. When you received the 'Safe a date,' you said you have to be there even if Jo is not going. That was the type of person you were. Anytime you came to Nigeria, most of us who are Jo's friends will assemble at Oyingbo to eat Amala with obe Abula and eran orisirisi. There was no dull moment with you and Jo. What more can we say than for us to pray that your soul rest in perfect peace when Jesus will raise you up on the last day. Adieu Mr J. From Funke Otegbade.
